HOTFIX.EXE

A digital corruption has spread through the system core, turning forgotten code into hostile entities. You play as a mysterious hooded fixer trapped inside a collapsing machine world where every enemy is a broken fragment of corrupted software. Defeat enemies, survive the waves, and collect Code Points to patch the system before everything crashes beyond repair.

Created for a game jam, HOTFIX.EXE was made to combine fast-paced top-down combat with a stylish cyberpunk coding theme. The idea came from imagining what it would feel like to fight inside a malfunctioning computer where every battle is literally a “hotfix” against chaos. The game focuses on quick action, arcade survival, and a cool retro-tech atmosphere.

Controls

• Arrow Keys → Move
• C Key → Attack

Can you survive long enough to repair the system... or will you become another corrupted process?

Also one more thing: i had to rush it because i am travelling so if there are bugs in it please tell me
